Seriously ; If you ever want to get a decent girlfriend don't wear them lousy t-shirts that say "GUILDWARS" with a silly picture on it ; ..
These things are one step uglier then free t-shirts like "belgacom" or something ; why ? ; because you even paid for it xD
Gstar > shit t-shirts of guildwar
If you have any selfrespect , you don't wear these things out of your own house .. heck , you don't even buy them ..

Honestly, I'd buy anything that has GW on it. As long as the price isn't ridiculous. I have the Factions Z-board, and would love a GWEN version with Jora for example. I also have the gaming mouse, and the Commodore Guild Wars PC really gets my freak on. But come on, 500 euro for an OLD 2 gig I-pod nano that doesn't even play video files, just because it has Eve on it!? That's just not right.

I think Anet should take advantage of the fact that most people have played their characters for a long time, and are - to some extend - proud of them and their achievements. Use that in your marketing.

So make products that draw information from a specific player/account in the game. For example, high quality world map tapestry with the character/characters on it. maybe it could have dates for special achiements, "Xxxxx Xx Xxxxx ascended this-and-that-date" next to the desert, or "Shiro defeated blah-blah". A coffee mug with a certain character, a T-shirt, etc.etc.. well you get the idea.

Personally, I think a hot-sale item (albeit not too expensive) would be a screensaver that dynamically generates pictures (action poses I guess) and lists achievements for your characters. Kind of like a hall of monuments screensaver for your account.

This post made no sense.

If a girl doesn't like you because of you, you don't need her: "Grow up" number one.

If you like the t-shirt and no one else does, good for you for having the self esteem and self respect: "Grow up" number two.

If you have any self respect, you do what you want to do in the confines of knowing when to stop. If someone wants to wear such a shirt 'outside', they have more self respect than anyone else for knowing who they are, what they like and are sticking to it: "Grow Up" number three.

Peachy, you don't like it. Tough luck. Get over it or don't speak with that person, don't look at that person. Don't do anything regarding that person for a matter of fact!

Just be content on knowing he purchased a fantastic item from ANet In-Store Shop! Which, mind you, continues to support and allow ANet to grow to apply more to the Guild Wars chain. A game you appearntly play but do not support.

Edit: Oh, and by the way - I'm gay.

I would certainly buy Posters and concept art, since the people at Anet always do a great job with these.

I agree with phan...
And freit, usually people who wear that kind of stuff dont CARE how they look, doesnt have much to do with self esteem as you might think, more of a "fashion" statement, like saying "I'm my own person", ofcourse there is no prob to that, but i care too much about what other people think, and yea i can admit it =p

PS: Mouse pads =p

Don't know if it has been posted yet (didn't feel like reading through 17 pages), but, Guild Wars Papercraft Book.

I remember asking about it awhile ago in-game being told it was finished, so I guess it is just a matter of time before it hits the store, but the sooner the better.

I think this is a great idea. I would definitely consider buying GW merchandise in the futere, as long as the prices are reasonable.

PS: This reminds me of the birthday gift I got last November from my girlfried. A tshirt with my main character in the front and his name in the back. Check out the pics:

Hey, thats pretty cool! Would have been even nicer I think without the loginscreen background IMO, but its the thought that counts and its still pretty nice. Tbh, I'd buy most of the things on the list except for beanies/hats (don't wear them) and mousepads (use a trackball mouse). But oh my goodness. I would so buy plushies and figurines if they looked good. As well as a nice shirt maybe (I can hope for female sizes!). The shirts currently existing in the anet store are a bit bright though...I think i'd probably only wear the ranger one. The pennyarcade charr shirt was pretty sweet though.

That's not true. I care about how I look and I want comfort too, so I only wear the coolest of t-shirts. And because I only wear cool t-shirts, I won't buy any of that crap anet has to offer. I do however, have some cool shirts that my partner had made for me. They have pictures that were commissioned of my ranger in Nolani. I have 3 t-shirts, a mouse pad and a spiral pad. Way cool.

Not even a good hat, anet......damn.

Maybe for the mugs this line:
'I'm wielding a Coffee Cup of Charr slaying!'

Plushies would be cute ^^
Gwen, Rurik, Mhenlo, Varesh and Koss! :P

Gaile - I was really impressed by the Richard Anderson t-shirts and I really think I would buy a similar style GW shirt if I had more selection to choose from.

I've seen the art on the concept-art forums and it's very nice artwork that I would wear. I kind of hesitate because of the price, but given the right artwork I would buy one.

I don't think anyone would buy a canteen bottle thing branded with Guild Wars, but since everyone is making jokes - they could make Cho's Vice and have it come with a label which gives its green stats. Of course, there would need to be a disclaimer on the bottom of the bottle that states that excessive alcohol consumption will affect the way you play computer games. "It's spinning..."

Oh wow, I hadn't realized this thread was so old!
